What Clubs Does Jordan Spieth Use?

Jordan Spieth has been on a tear lately, most recently winning the 2016 Hyundai Tournament of Champions by a dominating 8 shots.  The list below details what he had in the bag during that week, as well as where I believe are the best places online to buy the heads and shafts of his clubs at huge value.  His ball and all of his clubs are manufactured by Titleist.

Note:  The club shafts in the images may not be perfectly accurate in terms of labeling.  Their appearances are an exact representation.

Putter:  Titleist Scotty Cameron 009 Prototype (4°, 35″)

Where to buy online:  Note that this particular Tour model is very expensive. One of the only places you can find them online (with different customized cosmetic designs) is this eBay page.

Ball:  Titleist Pro V1X (full review here)

Where to buy online cheap:  For packs of new, recycled or refinished balls, I strongly recommend taking a look at the big discounts on this eBay page.

As you may have figured out, checking eBay is a must for those who want great deals on golf equipment online.

Aside from the newly-added Vokey SM6 wedges, Spieth has been playing the same clubs for the past year.  He has been using the same 009 putter since he was fifteen.

Spieth’s clubs look dang sleek.. and legit discounts too. I’m definitely going to check out some of your links. eBay is amazing for golf stuff. The guy is crazy good right now and he hasn’t shown any signs of slowing down. Thanks for this great in-the-bag man — most golf sites just give you a simple list but you’ve taken it a couple steps further here. Very helpful for those who want to match at least some of what he uses.

Thanks. Indeed, it’s amazing how good Spieth is playing, and also how long he’s been able to maintain his form.

Thanks Paul for this in-the-bag of Jordan. Nice layout. I must say that you come across as professional with a sober aesthetics, which I really like! It’s not enough to have the Equipment of a champion though. You also have to train and work hard to get results, don’t you think? But it’s always a good place to start.

Of course. Many people just like the idea of using clubs that top Tour pros use — it can give people confidence out on the course, among other things. Thanks for the comment.

    Hey pmb,

I appreciate the thorough in-the-bag of Jordan Spieth. i’ve been using the 915D2 for a while and it’s fantastic — i’m very satisfied with it in just about every respect. I already knew what driver and ball Spieth was using but I wanted to get a full picture of his bag. for irons, i’m probably going to go straight to the 716s now that they’re out. I’m not going to duplicate his bag, but this does give me a lot of good ideas. Thanks.

Thanks for the comment. Most people know Titleist for their famous Pro V1/V1x balls, but a lot of people don’t realize that Titleist makes terrific clubs as well — clubs that can certainly compete and even surpass many of the big players in the market.
