Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond Driver - 3 Perspectives

In this review, I’ll be taking a comprehensive look at the Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond driver.

The Quantum Triple Diamond (♦︎♦︎♦︎) features a new, next-gen, triple-layer AI face design that is engineered to further improve performance over past generations.

Compared to the Max model, the TD has a compact, Tour-inspired profile for low spin, workability, and a penetrating flight. A 450cc shape and 360° Carbon Chassis further set it apart from its sister models.

The Quantum Triple Diamond is the most players-oriented model in the Quantum family of drivers. How does it actually perform when put to the test? How does it compare to the Quantum Max and Elyte Triple Diamond? Who is it best suited for? Is it worth putting in the bag?

Here’s what will be covered in the review:

Because everyone’s swing and body are different, results with a particular club may differ from person to person.

What are the reviews like?

The Quantum Triple Diamond driver is a new release, so the ratings that are out there are currently limited.

However, it won a gold medal on the Golf Digest 2026 Hot List and has been received very positively overall by critics and consumers, particularly when it comes to its performance. It currently has a 4.1/5 rating on the official Callaway store.

What People Like

  • clear gain in performance over past players drivers from Callaway
  • surprisingly easy to hit
  • simple, effective look at address
  • forgiving for a TD driver
  • exceptional feel
  • incredibly long

What People Don’t Like

  • more expensive than the other Quantum drivers
  • look isn’t to everyone’s tastes

The Features

The Quantum Triple Diamond driver has the same key tech as the Quantum Max, namely the AI-Optimized Tri-Force Face.

This innovative new face design consists of a carbon fiber inner layer, Poly Mesh middle layer, and titanium outer layer. It’s designed to deliver unprecedented speed along with exceptional accuracy, spin, and launch consistency across the entire face, with a new AI process optimizing face flexion based on real impact patterns.

The Triple Diamond model differentiates itself in a few ways:

  • 360° Carbon Chassis: this light yet strong chassis, which includes a woven sole design, enables weight savings that are redistributed for optimal dispersions and forgiveness.
  • Advanced Perimeter Weighting (APW): a discrete perimeter weight track at the back of the club. The system, more compact than the previous generation, contains a 10g rubber weight that can be placed in neutral or fade positions to alter ball flight and launch direction.
  • a more compact 450cc shape with a deeper face that appeals to the eye of better players

Stock Info

The Quantum Triple Diamond driver is available in , and 10.5° standard lofts at 450 CC.

An included Optifit hosel allows you to adjust loft and lie. The loft settings are -1, +1, 0 and +2 (a range of 3°). The lie settings are N (neutral) and D (draw), giving a total of 8 possible configurations.

Also available is the Quantum Triple Diamond Max driver. This model is essentially the same as the core TD except for a slightly larger, more stable 460cc footprint, which adds some forgiveness while slightly increasing spin.

The stock graphite shafts are the Project X Denali Frost Silver and Fujikura VENTUS Black. The stock grip is the Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360. Custom options are available.

The Performance

In the below sections, I’ll talk about my experience with the Quantum Triple Diamond driver. Let’s jump right in.

Distance

After a lengthy field test, it was pretty clear, and least in my experience, that the Quantum TD does not have a distinct clubhead or ball speed advantage over the Max model.

The key difference appears to be lower spin—it was around 245 RPMs lower on average which is decent but not dramatic.

In my case, the end result was a couple yards more carry and 5-7 yards more distance compared to the Quantum Max. I was also getting more distance than last year’s Elyte Triple Diamond, though the gains there are small.

Forgiveness

The Quantum Triple Diamond driver is one of the more forgiving low-spin drivers I’ve played. I’m not that surprised by this given that spin rates are low but not ultra, ultra-low.

That’s not to say it’s as forgiving as the Quantum Max, because it clearly isn’t. Poor contact can result in fairly considerable distance loss, and you’re not immune to a nasty hook or a slice if you make a bad swing.

I would have traded some of the TD’s forgiveness for even less spin, because the Triple Diamond Max model is already meant to fill the role of “forgiving low spin”. Overall forgiveness levels are a bit too similar to that model, in my opinion.

Flight & Playability

The trajectory of the Quantum Triple Diamond is mid, with a low-mid launch.

This is the lowest-spinning driver in the Quantum family, but as mentioned previously, I did not find it to be extremely low. I also found this with last year’s Elyte TD. Thus, some very fast swingers (110+ mph) may not get the spin they’re looking for here.

Having said this, the flight is penetrating and holds up well in windy conditions. The tall face of the driver is conducive to excellent workability, so capable players should have no trouble flighting the ball off the tee.

While the Elyte TD did not have a fade adjustment, the Quantum Triple Diamond does, which is nice. With neutral and fade options on the perimeter track, better players have more flexibility to find a setting that affords them the most control and consistency.

The Look

Let’s first start with the more obvious differences. In contrast to the Quantum Max, the Quantum Triple Diamond driver is more compact from front to back, is slightly more pear-shaped (albeit rather triangular), and has a deeper face, all of which skilled players tend to prefer.

The glossy crown lacks a chevron alignment aid for a cleaner look, while the middle section of the sole has a woven design that gives the driver more of a premium feel.

Callaway has done away with the light-grey regions that are on the Max models in favour of the dark woven texture, which I personally think looks better and gives the driver a more unified appearance.

As with the other drivers in the Quantum family, the colour scheme is mostly monochromatic with a couple of red accents. I actually think Callaway nailed it with the sleek look of the TD this generation—it’s one of my favourite driver looks for 2026.

The Sound & Feel

The Quantum Triple Diamond driver, I find, has a very similar sound profile to the core Quantum Max model: a somewhat metallic, smooth “thwack” that is medium in pitch.

The sound is louder than I would like, though—I was hoping for something a bit quieter and more understated. But we are working with a titanium face here, so I suppose it comes with the territory.

On the feel side, I find the Quantum TD to have the most explosive and responsive feel out of all the Quantum drivers, particularly on center contact. As is typical with low-spin drivers, quality contact is generally rewarded with fantastic solid feel.

Mis-hit feedback is quite clear, enabling you to diagnose your misses without much trouble. At the same time, feel and sound hold up impressively well across the face (though maybe not as well as the Max model); hence, bad swings aren’t overly punishing to your hands and ears.

Where To Buy This Driver Online

The natural place to go to order a Quantum Triple Diamond driver with custom specifications (loft, length, shaft, grip, etc.) is this page on the Callaway store. Get the Triple Diamond Max here.

Another option is PGA TOUR Superstore. They offer a 90-Day Performance Guarantee, club trade-ins, and other incentives designed to enhance the buying experience.

If you want to save some money, you can find discounts on eBay.

You can also buy the Quantum TD driver from Golf GalaxyGlobal Golf, or Amazon.

Final Thoughts

The Callaway Quantum Triple Diamond driver makes only marginal gains in ball speed and distance over the previous-generation Elyte TD. While it certainly puts out low spin, I wouldn’t consider it to be ultra-low spin, and I could see it not suiting the game of many of the fastest swingers in the game.

At the same time, the Quantum TD is impressively forgiving, and the discrete perimeter weighting system, which allows for an optional fade bias, is great to have. The feel is as pure as a better player can expect.

This is a solid low-spin offering that will appeal to many plus and low handicappers, as well as some mid handicappers.
